South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging (SCBMA) is an institution of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, 190 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. SCBMA is managed by a board of trustees elected through the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Rev. Kirby Winstead is serving as acting president of the institution.
South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging operates two Christ-centered retirement communities: Bethea Baptist Retirement Community, Darlington, and Martha Franks Retiremement Community, Laurens.
South Carolina Baptist Ministries for the Aging collects an annual Mother's Day Offering that is used to support the long-term healthcare needs of pastors and missionaries, and their spouses, who are in need of financial assistance.
